The world is changing faster than any curriculum can keep up with.

What children need is not a memorised list of facts but the ability to think clearly, solve problems, adapt and keep learning long after any classroom is behind them.

Learning for the future

The jobs your children will do may not exist yet. The tools they will use may not have been invented. They need the ability to think clearly, solve problems, adapt and keep learning.

Skills that matter

Every lesson grows critical thinking, problem solving, creativity and resilience. Not what do you know, but what can you do with it.

Freedom to learn

Home education gives you the freedom to build learning around the child in front of you. Homeschool Club helps you build it with confidence.

Think for themselves

The children who thrive tomorrow will be the ones who can think for themselves today. Homeschool Club helps turn curiosity into lasting skills.

Ask the teacher

Your AI teacher, in your corner.

Ask anything. How do I explain long division? What should we be covering in English this term? Plan a rainy afternoon of science. Get clear, practical answers you can use today.

  • Explains anything in plain words

To you, not just your child. Ask what a fronted adverbial is at 9pm and get a clear answer, not a lecture.

  • Knows the National Curriculum

Ages 4 to 11, across every subject. Ask what your child should know and where to start.

  • Then helps you teach it

Two modes help you teach with confidence or work alongside your child at the kitchen table.

I'm teaching fractions tomorrow and honestly I don't get them myself 😅

Totally normal, most of us weren't taught them well either. Here's the 60 second version:

A fraction is just a way of splitting one whole thing into equal parts. The bottom number (denominator) says how many parts you split it into. The top (numerator) says how many of those parts you have. So 3/4 means: cut it into 4 equal pieces, take 3.

Try this tomorrow

Cut a slice of toast (or an apple) into 4. Ask your child to give you 1/4, then 2/4, then 3/4. Then ask: is 2/4 the same as 1/2? Let them work it out with their hands. That's the whole lesson.

Ask anything about teaching your child…

About photo

About us

Built by home education parents, for home education parents.

You know your child better than anyone. But knowing your child and knowing what to teach every single day are two different things. That gap is where many parents lose confidence.

Homeschool Club closes that gap. It gives you one warm place to plan the week, meet nearby families and find real things to do.

Why we built Homeschool Club

Home education should never feel lonely.

Homeschool Club helps you find the families next door, plan lessons that get your children learning with their hands and their whole selves, and discover what is happening right where you live. More time in the real world, learning through practical activities, together.

Founding families

We're inviting our first 500 families to shape Homeschool Club. Join free, tell us what you think, and lock in £12/month forever.

Become a founding family

The register is now in law, but parent sign up is not yet live

The Children Not in School register was established in law in April 2026, but it is not yet mandatory for parents to sign up. Homeschool Club keeps a tidy record of everything your child covers, so you will be ready for the register and any local authority enquiry without the admin.

Legal points describe England and Wales. Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own rules.

Questions parents ask

Legal points below describe England and Wales. Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own rules.

Is home education legal in the UK?

Yes. In England and Wales, home education is legal under the Education Act 1996. You must provide a suitable education, but you don't need to follow the National Curriculum, be a qualified teacher, or get permission to start (though you must notify the school in writing if your child is already enrolled). Scotland and Northern Ireland work differently: in Scotland you normally need your council's consent to withdraw a child from a council school, and Northern Ireland has its own process.

Do I need to be a teacher?

No. You just need to provide an education appropriate to your child's age, ability and aptitude. Homeschool Club's AI teacher helps you understand and explain any topic.

How much time does home education take?

For ages 4, 11, most families do 2, 4 hours of focused learning per day. The rest is play, outdoor time, and life learning. Homeschool Club builds your weekly plan around the hours you have.

What about socialisation?

This is the number one concern and the most overblown. Home educated children socialise through local groups, classes, park meetups, and community activities. Homeschool Club's community feature helps you find other home ed families near you.

How much does it cost?

Homeschool Club is £20/month (or £199/year) and replaces private tutoring, curriculum subscriptions, and planning tools. The first 500 families get £12/month locked in forever.

What if my child wants to go back to school?

Home education isn't permanent. Homeschool Club keeps term summaries and records that make transitions easier.

Do I need to follow the National Curriculum?

No, it's not legally required. But Homeschool Club loosely follows it for ages 4, 11 so you can if you choose to.

Is my child's data safe?

Yes. Your family's data stays yours. We don't share or sell it. No ads and no third party tracking on children. Homeschool Club is private by design.

Can I home educate and still work?

Yes. Homeschool Club's weekly planner adapts to your schedule, not a school timetable.

How do I deregister my child?

In England and Wales, write to your child's head teacher stating that you are providing home education, and the school must remove your child from the roll. In Scotland you usually need council consent first, and Northern Ireland follows its own process. Homeschool Club provides a free deregistration letter template in our guides section.

Do I need to sign the Children Not in School register?

The Children Not in School register was established in law in April 2026, but it is not yet mandatory for parents to sign up. When it becomes active, local authorities will ask for basic details such as your child's name, address and an outline of how education is provided.
