Secret kindness envelopes
Fill seven envelopes with small kind acts and open one each morning.
Kindness is easier when it is already decided. The envelope does the deciding for you.
What you need
- Seven envelopes
- Paper and a pen
- Whatever each act needs
How to do it
- 1
Think of seven small kind things: a note for a neighbour, tidying without being asked, a phone call.
- 2
Write one on a slip of paper and seal each in an envelope.
- 3
Number the envelopes one to seven.
- 4
Open one each morning and do it before lunch.
- 5
On the last day, talk about which one felt best to give.
